With the amazing weather we have been having lately in Mzansi one can say that summer is well, just around the corner. Time to pack away those coats and boots and start stocking up on shorts and vests. Here is how to get that “perfect summer body”.
STEP 1- EAT FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
As everyone knows “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” but fruits and vegetables should be in one’s everyday meal anyways.Eating food which is high in protein and fiber will help you get that killer body. Studies show that you should eat vegetables that have colour in them that which would be your carrots, beetroot as well as broccoli.
PS-DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF
STEP 2-DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
Of course water has no taste and you would rather drink a cold drink or buy that drink o pop while nobody is looking .Having a glass of water rather than an acid drink will sure lower your calories, so if you really are serious lay off the sugary drinks just for now.
PS-DRINK 8 GLASSES OF WATER PER DAY AND CUT HUNTERS DRY AND RED WINE OUT OF YOUR DIET
Well you are not going to get that summer body by just sitting on the couch all day and watching Idols and munching on a packet of Lays. Get up do some cardio, take a walk now and again even if its just for 15 min and draw up a working out routine.
PS-WALKING TO THE TOILET AND BACK DOES NOT COUNT
STEP 4-GET ENOUGH SLEEP
One should get at least 8 hours of sleep every night, after a hectic day at work all you probably want is to put your head down and get straight through to dreamland ,having enough sleep will get you energized for the next day and looking forward to going to the gym.
