Seven injured including 6 kids in a collision in KZN

Marrionhill – A collision between two light motor vehicles left Seven people injured on M1 in  Marrionhill in KwaZulu Natal.

According to ER24, the collision took place in the early morning on 27 July 2016.  Seven people were injured, including six children, when two light motor vehicles collided.

ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 07h00 and found one vehicle in the left-hand lane while the second vehicle was found in the middle of the road.

ER24 paramedics found at the scene, a woman and six children, aged between 6 and 8, injured in the collision. When the  paramedics assessed the patients, they found out that their injuries ranged from minor to moderate.

The patients were treated and thereafter transported to various hospitals for further treatment.

“It is understood that all seven patients had come from the one light motor vehicle,” added ER24.

Traffic was heavily affected due to the collision. Meanwhile, no deaths have been reported, and the victims are currently being treated in hospitals.
