Social media went abuzz on Tuesday afternoon following the reports on Tembisa tornado in the East-Rand. It is further reported that the tornado hit parts of Magaliesburg, in the west of Johannesburg.
As the winter season is withering off in South Africa, there have been reports on numerous weather caused incidents, the tornado that reportedly hit Tembisa, in the east of Johannesburg has been the latest.
Various areas around the country are covered with snow and slippery roads. IOL reported that at least 20 people have been injured from the disaster.

There are concerns about safety for people surrounding the areas where the tornado hit. As a natural disaster, people question who will rescue or give refuge to the people who are affected, and political parties’ names are mentioned.
