The Queen of everything Bonang Matheba has added one more thing to her list of greatness as she’s just announced that she will be starting her own Bursary Foundation.
Bonang is no stranger to philanthropy, this comes just days after she publicly assisted a student with tuition fees thanks to Twitter,and another on Metro FM. Since then, the Tv presenter has disclosed the birth of the Bonang Matheba Foundation which will launch soon.
She expressed on social media how delighted she was to have a podium like Metro that enables her to do such things.
Bonang is th epitome of success. She leaves no stone unturned in her quest to be great, to change lives and to make a difference.
She joins a string of local celebs who strive to make education a priority, such as media personality DJ Sbu who has given out many bursaries to students in need, at the same time offering them mentorship. He has reportedly donated over 400 bursaries throughout 300 schools nationwide.
In February this year, Times Live reported that rappers Ifani and Cassper Nyovest had each donated 50 000 respectively towards the #FeesMustFall campaign.
Matheba has since decided to commit to altering lives for the remainder of 2016.
