59 year-old man and his two wives will soon appear in Tembisa magistrate court, following the arrest in possession of frauding seven birth certificate. The story was first cracked by The-Tembisan.
It reported that, the trio went to register for grant at the South Africa Social Security Agency (SASSA) on the 23 June.
Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha said The SASSA personnel was in shock when he entered the identity number of the child and it divulged that the child is already receiving the grant.
“He punched in the second child’s ID numbers and it showed the child is getting grant at Malelani (Nelspruit).” The-Tembisan reported.
Captain Rhalidzhivha said as the SASSA employee continues, its system founded that the two child are receiving grants in Malelana and the other two in Lusikisiki.
The man denied that these children were already receiving grants from different locations following the question asked by the SASSA employee.
He also discovered that both wives aged 27 and 31 did not have South African identities hence the husband had an authority to register the children’s grant.
Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha said the wives later confessed that the certificates were bought somewhere in Tshwelopele, Tembisa.
