Seven students from the University of the Witwatersrand are reported dead after the N1 accident in Limpopo, on Monday night.
The students who belonged to the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) were reportedly returning from a trip when seven out of nine were killed in the tragic N1 accident. Six other people were left critical from the accident, wrote Jacaranda News.
Information surrounding the accident is still unclear, as it is still under investigations.
It is reported that the university has dispatched a team to Limpopo to gather more information and support the families. Wits students ZCC chairperson says they are traumatised by the accident and cannot comment at this moment, reported Jacaranda News.
Limpopo Traffic Spokesperson told Jacaranda News that the students were returning from a ZCC pilgrimage.
