An collision involving one truck and a taxi has left fourteen people dead and two others remain critical. The accident occurred this afternoon on the R41 in Randfontein, West of Johannesburg.
During the report only 13 people were reported dead, Nations Voice had just learned that one from the two critical people died in Leratong Hospital. Leaving only one person critical from the accident.
More information about the incident is yet to be released. Individuals who died are also unknown.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe states that the police are yet to investigate what caused the accident, the road had been cordoned off and Netcare 911 paramedics and other services are on scene.
Motorists are advised to use other routes, and avoid the Randfontein Road.
